At the University of Rhode Island's 127th Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19, 2013, more than 3,200 undergraduate and 770 graduate students became the University's newest alumni.

Nichols College's Office of the Registrar has announced the Dean's List for the spring semester of 2013. The Dean's List gives recognition to those students who achieve high grades during a single semester. In order to be included in the Dean's List, a student must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.2 for at least 12 credit-hours and receive no grade below a C+ during the semester. A student who earns a grade point average of 3.6 or higher is awarded Dean's High Honors.

One of the approximately 70 student clubs and organizations at Eastern Connecticut State University is Eastern's Sustinet Club. The purpose of the Sustinet Club is to promote a unified community among the students of Eastern through the development of an annual yearbook.
